San diego children museum As a way of introducing design to children, we broke down the vast world of industrial design into 5 suits in a deck of cards: furniture, communication, transportation, tools and play, with 13 objects per suit. When a child dialed in the correct combination of symbols describing the characteristics of an object, a dispenser would eject the corresponding card. Even the youngest children could solve this pictorial puzzle. All aspects of the show were interactive. We curated and designed the exhibit. project coordinator Michael Gallino.
